Our normally very reliable log shipping setup failed to copy 19 files in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
For all the failed copies, backupfiles_copylist shows a status of E, count of 0, retrycount of 0, diskretrycount of 10, created 2014-07-19 23:53:06.203, last attempt is NULL and lastupdated of 2014-07-20 13:32:29.000
I'm assuming the count of 0 means that the reason for failure was something that just wasn't recoverable so it didn't retry but I don't have any good ideas of what it could have been.
The backup had completed successfully and subsequent files copied successfully as well.
I've been asked to explain why it happened so any suggestions as to what I can investigate are most welcome.
Running SQL Backup 7.6.0.29
Thanks,
